Since our debut in 2013, Hello Mr. represented the expansive possibility in publishing queer stories. Each of the ten issues amplified the voices of emerging and established artists, writers, and photographers who shaped the change in LGBTQ media. More than a magazine, Hello Mr. was an introduction to a new conversation that created space to better see one another through a deeper understanding of ourselves.
Next year marks the publication’s 10th anniversary, and we’re opening up the vaults to honor this legacy. In a forthcoming book published by Abrams, we’ll reflect on the evolution of this community since our first introduction a decade ago. New voices will join a curation of previously published works in a queer anthology for the ages.
